So I guess 300 passing yard 4 TD games are the norm now

at 189 by halftime. horsefeathers it be the first Bears QB to throw for 400 yards in a game since 1999. They won’t because the coaches will go Uber conservative though

If Eberflus and Getsy have even the slightest desire to keep their jobs they won't take their feet off the gas.

I'm ... stunned, I guess.  This isn't the Literally Perfect half like last week, but it's darn good quarterback play.

First drive, he hit some deep balls on busted coverage, good for him.

The second TD is the one that gets me.  He recognized Moore had a one-on-one and the *moment* Moore started his move, Fields put the ball out there where he knew Moore's move would take him and trusted Moore to get to the ball first. That's the "throw your receiver open" play we've been *begging* him to make..

There's been at least 6 or 7 completions this half that I know for a *fact* he would not have made in his career before this week, he would have hopped in place and not thrown the ball and we would have spent the week arguing about whether he should have thrown the ball or if no one was open.

The third one wasn't *as* good, but do you know how many times I've seen him turn down that little TE shallow crossing route in his career?  Tons.

I did not expect to see some sort of light bulb flick and suddenly Fields starts doing all the things we've been begging him to do, but here we are.

Second half has got to be Mooney time, the Commanders are going to pay all kinds of attention to Moore.  Mooney, St. Brown or maybe even Scott or Jones Jr. have got to take advantage.
