Congrats on throwing up the abuck signal. I’m sure he’ll be back in no time to chime in.

lol so weird that I’m not feeling great about this team right now. completely unjustified, I know.

If he's healthy, he's healthy.  Do you really think they rushed their massive long-term investment back to the lineup in a lost season just because they are playing the Cubs?  The timing just so happened to line up, unfortunately for the Cubs.

I never said anything about him rushing back. I’m just mad the Cubs are going to lose this series so I’m complaining.

three times they’ve failed to score a guy from 3rd with less than 2 outs.

oops, that sounded negative. glad the fellas got some exercise today and it looks like the weather was nice!

Well things will be interesting these last 15 games. Division out of reach,  just hope to hang on to one of the wildcards

We have to hope the Braves really do take their foot off the pedal for our series.  The Brewers are horsefeatherss and would relish knocking the Cubs out of the playoffs to continue Wisconsin sports dominance over Chicago.

At least the Tigers have Eduardo Rodriguez going tonight against the Reds Connor Phillips who got lit up in his first career start last time out.  Giants are losing 5-1 (I thought it was a night game, whoops).

Can't keep hoping for the other teams to lose, eventually they gotta turn this around themselves.

How many playoff caliber starters have we faced over the last month and change since the offense died? Maybe 5? Teams are just kitchen sinking us and we can't do horsefeathers.

Can't even score 6 runs in Coors with the worst pitching in the league. Humiliating.

Sure but we are losing, so for now we have to rely on other teams to keep us afloat.  If there was just one more halfway decent team in the WC race we'd be in trouble.

****** series! Our two best pitchers didn’t pitch and we either stranded or lost to dumb decisions like 30 baserunners. Certainly can’t repeat this going forward unless you want to go home in a couple weeks. Hopefully that was sufficiently negative.

going 16-12 in the last calendar month and going from out of a playoff spot to a playoff spot with a cushion is not playing bad. I get that it came on the heels of an unsustainable hot streak, both for the true talent level of the team and also just how baseball in general works. But it’s still pretty decent?

ok. These things happen in the course of a season. It's really bad for it to happen now. It's why people are wrong who say games are less important in April. It drives me up the fricken wall. Every year the Cubs come our with a fluid bullpen and see what happens. It's a awful strategy.

Also, I like Abuck and respect his negative opinions of Ross and the Cubs.

In a nutshell it’s perfectly fine being negative sometimes or not being happy with the team losing 2 of 3 to the worst team in the NL or losing 5 of 7.

However, you also basically never post anything positive so the constant stream of negativity is insufferable.

Then there is your seemly complete confusion as to why some people might want to be a little more level headed about things and look at the bigger picture. You post like the Cubs are on pace to win 70 games and are simply playing out the string.
