First, sorry to hear that your platform is shutting down. Losing legacy communities on the internet sucks.

But hey, we're here! Welcome to NSBB! Even though I own the place, I'm relatively new here, too... all I can say is don't let the geezers harass you too much. They're (mostly) toothless anyway.

Please, invite your friends to join us at NSBB. We're undergoing an overhaul and expanding our coverage. We won't be going anywhere for a long, long time, that much I promise.

First post here. Joined here by recommendation from Cubs fans at PSD. It’s very sad to see a platform shut down that you’ve spent years and years on. I expect many people to join here from there, which will be nice. I’ll be happy to see friendly faces from PSD here, well friendly names lol, but I will also enjoy interacting with new Cubs fans.

Kidding, glad to have you here.  We've been an active forum for over 20 years, some years more active than others but you'll find quite a few of us who have been conversing with each other for a decade or more.   Here's to the next 20 years of NSBB with our new friends!

I'm a teacher; there's nothing to do but ramble on about some middle relief prospect that only I care about on a Tuesday at 11:30am in the summer.  Had to find somewhere to prattle on.
