Extremely disappointing.   This was blatant homophobia and the fact that he's still allowed to be a leader of young men is ridiculous.

I've heard from someone with internal knowledge of the situation, and it sounds like Huggins wasn't going to return after this year anyway, so the school saves money by keeping him on this year with a suspension and salary reduction, and can take this season to take their time to find a long term replacement rather than have to quickly scramble to find someone for this season without losing their entire team (particularly because Huggins isn't recruiting a single high school player for this year's roster) with only 4 months to rebuild.

So they continue having nobody recruit high schoolers while keeping a coach around who has checked out?

I mean, it's West Virginia, they might be concerned they can't bring in anyone of note right away, especially now that the coaching musical chairs has effectively already happened this season.

Caleb Love is on the market again. Apparently UM admissions office dunked all over his chances to get accepted. I guess those phony classes on a UNC transcript don't hold much water. 😄

Of course now the talk is IU or MIzzou for Love, they were in the mix originally. With IU recently picking up Mackenzie Mgbako, would there be enough basketballs to share shots with Love? 🤔

The arrest report on that is pretty awful.  Didn't know he was in Pittsburgh, didn't know how he got there, empty beer cans on the passenger floorboard and empty aluminum bottles in the trunk, which probably explains him blowing a .21.

He must have taken I-75 from Morgantown. If he took the back roads, his car would have ended up in a ravine at the bottom of a mountain.

Michigan with two Top 15 picks and couldn’t even make the NCAA Tournament.

How good are they gonna be without those 1st round picks and the nations number 1 transfer leaving for Kansas?

Jesus, firstly I hope he's doing ok. Secondly, I guess that has to be the end of his career. Sad that it ended before it even started.

I have no idea, but without knowing exactly what happened, I think it's too early to speculate on his basketball future.

That seems wildly speculative with no basis in anything.

It's definitely an assumption, but how often have we seen players go into cardiac arrest on a court and return?

Seems pretty common anymore.  Keyontae Johnson went from collapsing at Florida to playing for OKC.
