I have it. I thought I would use it a lot more than I did. I don't have cable so I thought I could use it to watch live games or watch them later and plug my computer into my TV HDMI.

The live game worked but is subject to all the same blackout stuff (local game only).

Watching later seemed to work fine, but if you tried to move the slider ahead in the game it got all f'd up and would lock/lag/drag and it sucked. So if I wanted to go back 10 seconds to rewatch something it took a minute or two before it was right. I have Fiber optic and really good speeds, btw

The condensed games were fun, but they don't have many replays and the same lag thing happened on this.

If you can stand the lag issues it's worth the $99 in my opinion

Thanks. Lag would be a big issue for me.  Its honestly why I still have kept DirecTV all these years. I hate fast forwarding and rewinding on streaming services, whereas the DirecTV DVR's 30 second skip ahead or the skip back button work pretty instantaneously.  The MLBTV app seems to have gotten better over the years, but I definitely remember a few years ago trying to skip just a little ahead or behind and having to then wait like 50 seconds for the stream to start up again and it was awful.  Watching football, I frequently hit the 30 sec skip button at the end of a play to jump to the start of the next play.  Maybe I will do the trial and see how it works for me.

So Jets let the Packers pick 2 spots higher this year, give them a mid 2nd rounder this year and a potential 1st rounder next year?  Seems like way too much for a dude who is turning 40 next season and just had the worst statistical season od his career.

30 years of HOF QB play and all the Packers could manage was two SB's this'll be the legacy of Farve and Rodgers.  However, I'm certain the Bears, given 30 years of HOF QB play, would have found a way to not win any SB's.

Au contraire, they won one with Jim McMahon and made it to another with Rex Grossman. If they had actual HOF caliber qb play they’d have won a half dozen.

Yeah those 80's Bears could have won at least one more with decent QB, the 06 team would have won with even half way decent QB play. I think that 2011 team was prime to make a run if Cutler doesn't get injured against the Chargers on an interception

Also popular opinion that Mr. Biscuits would have rode the defense to a title in 2018

It's pretty grim looking back at who those 80s Bears teams actually had playing QB by the time the playoffs rolled around.

In 84, Steve Fuller went 13 for 22, 87 yards, 1 Int in the NFC Championship game.

In 86, Doug Flutie went 11 for 31, 134 yards, 1 TDs, 2 Int in the Divisional round.

In 87, McMahon went 15 for 29, 197 yards, 1 TD, 3 Int in the Divisional round.

In 88, McMahon went 14 for 29, 121 yards, 1 Int and Tomczak went 6 for 12 for 55 yards in the NFC Championship game.

In 90 Tomczak went 17 for 36, 205 yards, 2 Int in the Divisional round.

In 91 Harbaugh went 22 for 44, 218 yards, 1 TD, 2 Int in the Wild Card.

Not one starter posted a QB rating above 55 in those 7 games.  In 89 when the Bears missed the playoffs, Tomczak and Harbaugh had 68.2 and 70.5 QB ratings, respectively.  It's pretty amazing some of those teams made the playoffs at all.  From 86-87, Tomczak started 13 games while throwing 7 TDs to 20 Int, with the team somehow going 11-2 in those games.  During that entire run from 84 to 91, as a team, the Bears threw more TDs than Ints in every season except 85 and 90.

Chase Young's 2024 option was declined by the Redskins. That's a guy I'd love Chicago to take a gamble on.

The who?

The guy with 1.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons?

No, the guy that won defensive rookie of the year.
he’s missed a ton of time with injuries and that is a big part of the reason his option wasn’t picked up. If he shows himself to be a solid player this year he’ll make a ton of money. If he struggles he may be done with football. It’s a hard needle to thread to bring this guy in for 2024.

Give him an incentive laden one year deal. Gives him a chance to show he still has it but if he fails it's no loss.

It's going to take a trade and a fairly high pick, like a 3rd to get him. He was the #2 overall pick in 2020, He was the defensive rookie of the year and a probowler. The last two years he has been plagued with injuries, but talent wise he'd be going #1 in the current draft.

edit: He's also still only 24

Trade? Won't he be a FA if the Washington Football Team declined his option?

I'm aware of how good he WAS, I'm saying that he's an oft-broken guy now with a ton of red flags. It would be a big gamble if he was unwilling to take a one-year deal

You take the gamble because if he's healthy this year, he's going to get a huge deal next year. It's a chance to add an elite talent.

Lions trade swift to eagles

Eagles have now drafted Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith and Kelee Ringo, and then traded for D'Andre Swift, all products of the University of Georgia.
