2022 Complain about your fantasy team that no one cares about discussion

I'm officially eliminated on one league and locked up the number 1 seed in another league. So I'm mostly hanging around the next couple weeks. May do a little more digging at possible additions for week 16/17 matchups for my one seed, but even that doesn't really matter except DST which I already have looked at, and TE, which is just a dumpster fire no matter what. My RB/WR aren't really benchable for matchup reasons, so it would only come up do to injury. Picked up White as my emergency QB in case Hurts were to get hurt, as White has decent playoff week matchups...

 

So if anyone has a good streaming TE for week 16/17 matchups, drop a recommendation.

If you want to snag a TE and hope they have a role when week 16 and 17 comes around, I think Trey McBride makes sense. He's getting all the snaps at TE, and Kyler has tended to favor targetting TEs. He just hasn't been getting the targets thus far since Ertz went down. I think it makes more sense holding a guy like him (or Okonkwo, etc) than White, whom you could probably grab anyways if Hurtz gets hurt.

I have two TE, currently Geisicki and Knox. They play two bad Ds in GB and Chicago week 16. So I'm okay with them for now, but watching like 6 others. Higbee is the big one who I had for a while and has gotten quite a few targets and should have a decent matchup for playoffs.

 

Theres a half dozen guys I flagged to watch for, but I think I'll take my second choice at TE over a second choice on the waiver wire at QB if Hurts went down. It's gonna be a crap shoot no matter what at TE.

 

I may drop Moore after this week for a 3rd TE. He's starting in flex due to byes this week, and he's been kind of a deep/sleeper keeper hold for me all yeat, but in all likliehood not a keeper option I'll use next year. And he's like WR5 for me.

Yea, only a 10 team league for me. I wasted too long hoping for Pitts to turn around his season and probably missed the boat on some buy low TE options I coulda still picked up mid-season though. And wasn't able to pull off any trades.

 

Moreau, Higbee, Bellinger, Hooper, Henry, Otton, Tonyan are the guys are flagged to watch this week and next and then decide between them and Knox/Geisicki who I go week 16 and 17.

So pissed about my work (money) league. My team is terrible, but Justin Fields has single-handedly put me in contention for a playoff spot. This week 6-6, tied for the last playoff spot. A win and needed to outscore the 6th place team by 20 points to get into the last spot (there is next week as well). Playing another 6-6 that I have outscored this year. So, pretty huge game.

 

This MF'er has been waiting all year to start Deshaun Watson, and rightfully only got 5.6 points out of that POS. But he also has the Browns D and ST, who scored THREE horsefeathering TOUCHDOWNS! 31 points! He also picked up the Steelers backup kicker due to injury and he put up 16 points.

 

So, I go into the night game needing a HUGE game from the Cowboys defense. 21 points. I know I needed either a bunch of sacks, a few turnovers, and 1, if not 2 scores. 3 sacks, 5 turnovers, 1 score. Instead of 21 points, they fall just short and put up 20. I lose what is essentially and elimination game by 0.6 points.

 

So, I guess I am still alive. There's a 12-1 team, a 9-4 team, then four 7-6 teams and me and 2 others at 6-7. Looks like overall points is the tiebreaker. I'm in the middle of the 2 other 6-7 teams in points.

 

The team that is BELOW me in points is playing the only 7-6 team that I have outscored. The team above me is playing a 7-6 team and projected to lose by 2 points. So, I need one 6-7 team to lose and the other 6-7 team to win.

 

I play the worst team in the league, I am projected to outscore him, but I am also missing Fields, A Jones, Lazard and AJ Dillon (yeah, I know too many Packers but got 2 of them on waivers).

 

Oh and side bar, I just realized the team that beat me by 0.6 points last week, beat me about 8 weeks ago by 1.8.

Since none of my guys played on Thursday, I still have the option to change players. I'm still sitting with Cousins, Mixon and Metcalf at the moment. I'll review it again Sunday morning, but that's where I'm leaning.

I made it another week thanks to that last DK Metcalf catch with less than a minute left in the game. That one catch moved me up 3 places to 7 spots above the cut line with only 6 teams below me having someone playing the Sunday or Monday night games. If I don't move up those 3 places, I probably don't make the cut.

I picked up Tyler Huntley to start at the last minute over Brady against the #1 defense. Brady only got 10 points, but Huntley ended with 6.6 because he got hurt in the 1st half of the game.

 

Additionally, Tee Higgins got hurt in the 1st quarter and finished with 0.0 points. DJ Moore, I don't think was hurt, but had 0 catches and a 6 yard run. 0.6 points. Dallas D, instead of dominating a terrible Houston team platooning QBs, only managed 4 points due to a Hail Mary INT on the last play of the game.

I drafted David Njoku to start the season and dropped him after 2 or 3 weeks of basically nothing. Since then it's been a revolving door of terrible numbers while Njoku has actually been pretty good.

My fantasy playoff life is on the line tonight. I lost this week to fall to 7-7 but can back in to the 6th and last playoff spot if the guy poised to pass me for that position doesn't have James Conner outscore the Arizona defense by more than 10 points. I won this league last year so I'd really like to try to defend the title.

 

IF I get in, it actually would've worked out pretty well because the guy I would have played in the playoffs had I just won is the highest-scoring team in the league, but the guy locked into the #3 seed opposite my potential #6 ranks 8th in the league in scoring. (I'm 3rd.)

Was a 6-team bye week. I was missing 4 starters in my "must win" league. I started Tyler Huntley, Demarcus Robinson and Nick Westbrook-Ikine in a 12-team league because it's a 2 FLEX and waivers were all picked over.
