Yeah, I was in a fantasy league in 1993, I believe. One of my classmates' dads did everything by hand. Get the Monday morning newspaper (and Tuesday for MNF games) and read boxscores to get the weekly statistics, then did the math to figure out the points based on the scoring system. I don't believe PPR was a thing back then, but I remember being a senior in HS and figuring out if I won on Mondays.

We did this in late 80s/early 90s.

Rushing, receiving or passing TD = 6 points. 12 if 50+ yards.

Field goal = 3 points. 6 if 50+ yards

Extra point = 1 point

RB or receiver over 100 yards = 1 point

QB over 300 yards = 1 point

Defense and special teams only got points when they scored.

Our scores looked like normal football game scores.

Our league in the late 80s was very similar. Todd Christenson was the first pick in our first draft. He had scored 8 tds the previous year. The next highest TE had 2. Everyone picked kickers in the early rounds

It’s no Redtails but it’s better than the Admirals.

Is it better than Admirals?

Both of those suck. Also, what’s the casual, abbreviated form of Commanders? “Let’s go Coms!” sounds like a cheer for a squad of self-aware machines.

Let's go Commies! Works with the red theme.

It also feels weird that the 11 individuals on the field should be “Commanders.” It’s like if the Packers were the Warehouse Owners or the Jets were the Boeing CEOs.

So the Rams have now won a NFC title game and a Super Bowl due to crappy reffing

Clearly someone missed the Bengals being gifted a touchdown on what should either have been a face mask or an offensive PI.
