Why does KB need so many days off? This is his 2nd of the “no off day” stretch, is it not?

Hopefully Javy is back in there Friday, these nagging injuries are so annoying.

It does seem that way, but he's leading the team in PAs and 43rd in baseball. Some combo of nagging injuries and a team wide directive to increase rest would be my guess.

San Diego recently opened their bars to 100% capacity

Each of the last three years KB has had an injury where he tried gutting through it and it tanked his performance. I think in general guys should probably get a day off per week, but KB absolutely should.

It just makes me mad that Darvish and Caratini are kicking our asses in this series instead of the other way around. There's just no good reason they shouldn't still be wearing blue.

yeah, it's not like the cubs opted not to sign him or he spurned the cubs for another team or he demanded a trade. like, the cubs had him. and they willingly just gave him away. so wild.

Jake's sitting 92-94. If he can stay living there I think he can get back to actually being solid again

It's more important that we can fantasize about winning in five years than it is to actually win now

I’ve noticed less JD lately. Are these just days off?

I haven't been able to catch much of these west coast games, but I think he didn't make the trip.
