For some reason today’s game isn’t available on TV/streaming, looks like only home teams offer broadcasts this year (guessing for COVID reasons). But looking at the schedule most of our games should be available through MLBTV moving forward and there’s some days we are on MLBN/ESPN.

Yeah I assume this is on the Padres.

 

I'll never understand why teams don't heavily prioritize the first few ST games though. Like I'm sure there's some considerations I'm not thinking of, but what could they be that you'd rather air a 30 year old episode of bass masters or whatever horsfeathers RSNs typically air on Monday afternoons?

Especially when no one is going to get on your case for having the broadcasters do the game remotely.

A bunch of guys I never heard of before batting for the Cubs. But it's baseball on TV. I love it. I like Boog, but he's not Len. It's going to take awhile.

I don’t think it’s hyperbolic to say that’s his cleanest inning ever as a Cub. His misses weren’t even misses, it’s one ST inning so literally can’t take anything but his arm motion looked shorter. Almost like Adam.

2, 2 strike hits today for Nico is good to see. His double to LCF was hit well. Then nice little punch shot to RF for the other one.

Davis got absolutely fucked in that strike 1 call for his AB. Changed everything. Could hear Ross yell out something like “you made him swing on that, blue” on strike 3 swing and miss.
