Looks like the outbreak is thankfully contained to the Marlins. I think this speaks to the fact that the game itself between the lines actually lends itself pretty well to preventing spread

Marlins shouldnt play for 2 weeks. Phillies at least a week minimum. Probably 10 days to be safe. If you let the Phillies come back this weekend and then they pop a positive test(s) and they go on to spread it to the Blue Jays or whoever they play, baseball is fucked.

 

Make up some of the games with doubleheaders if you want, but just proceed knowing some teams will play less games than others. And that’s okay. If you can’t be in the top 8 teams in winning % despite playing more/less games than others, then you don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. This whole season has one giant asterisk on it, anyway. Why risk it to try to squeeze in a few extra games? And whoever was supposed to play the Phillies can just play whoever was supposed to play the Marlins.
