The good times kept rolling last night - after a quick sidetrack for a couple of unnecessary innings - and the Cubs are on the attack again.

Last time Yu Darvish faced Miami he was the man we all wanted him to be. Can he do it again?

If he can, we'll really have something here.

Go CUBS !

I am surprised one of Javy, KB, or Rizz isn’t being rested.

This has to be Yu’s last stand, right? If he can’t have success against the lowly Marlins I’d like to see Chatwood or Montgomery next time through.

You have...complicated ideas about how a baseball team should be run.

If the team is playing well, and the rest of the starting rotation is doing well, then why wouldn't you want to be able to ride that to try and get a guy who would be REALLY VALUABLE if he was a good again hopefully back to some semblance of how he's been a very good pitcher? Why would you be looking to bail on him ASAP and effectively punt him being a useful starter not even 1.5 seasons in to his contract? It's not like they need to desperately bolster the rotation or something right now.

Marlins lineup has no player with more than 3 homers, and 1 hitter with over 10 RBIs (Castro - 11). Maybe I just jinxed him, but come on Yu just shut these guys down and let's get ready for the Crew.

Ready for Russell to get the start at SS so Baez can get a day off before the Brewers series??

There’s an off day Monday, wouldn’t be surprised if we see Javy get an off day Tuesday in Cincy as a double dip of rest.

I saw somewhere on twitter that there has been talk of a 6 man rotation for a stretch.

I actually wouldn't hate that if we had a full complement of relievers.

As it is, we don't, so I kind of hate that.

there's not a chance in hell that I would recognize brad brach or mark zagunis on the street

I also thought the same about chatwood but then I realized he'd be easy to notice because there'd be a ton of people walking around him
