1-2-3 in the first, Brewers get 3 in the bottom half, and we tuck our tails in for the rest of the series and get outscored by double digits

 

If we’re going down tonight, it’s got to be on a blown lead. Cubs lead by 3 or 4 going into the 7th to give us a bit of hope (could this be the start of a turnaround?) only for the pen to blow it again. Then we get rocked Sat and Sun.

I think it would have to be. How many teams even start the season with a nine game road trip? And the only way it could be worse would be if one team started 9-0 and the other started 0-9.

 

The only other time I can remember it happening is us last year. Imagine having a 9 game road trip to start the season 2 years in a row
