Crew up 8-7 in the bottom of the 8th

 

Jeffress gives up a double and single to start inning. First and third, none out. In comes Hader.

 

Hader Ks Polanco. Not a good matchup for Gregory. 1 out.

 

Marie dongs to CF. Bucs up 10-7.

 

Hader seems to give up a lot of dongs.

Josh Bell picked a hell of a time to have his most pathetic AB of the season in that 12th inning. Marte and his terrible swing before didn't help.

Giolito has really turned into the ace he was envisioned as this year

 

He got 22 swinging strikes today against the Royals and lowered his ERA to 2.28 with a 2.47 FIP

 

Look like tentatively we will get him in one of the 2 games later this month

Dude raked in the minors for like 7 years and never got a chance. Then hit the ground running when he was finally given one. I already had respect for him and that was just cutthroat when he said to Bum. I wish we had Muncy.
