A friend of mine(more of an acquaintance) left with 2 outs in the 9th. Bruuuuutal.

How do you leave then? I would understand if they left after the single in the ninth made it 3-0. But if you're staying for the rest of the top half plus the start of the bottom half, how can you leave with the tying run at the plate?

They had their kids for their first game and wanted to get a picture by the marquee. Even worse they were 10 rows behind the Cubs dugout. They said they saw the home on the little grassy setup though. The post was ended with “hey we were still there”. Nah, you blew it!!

HOLY horsefeathers Rizzo is carrying seal boy like a child if you zoom in

I saw a tweet 2-3 weeks ago that stated something like "The Nationals are having the season Cubs fans think the Cubs are having." That manifested itself tonight.

Awfully convenient that Matt Adams was lingering on the dugout railing staring.

But going forward, I think we ought to hire Mike Matheny for that role.

Can't take that chance of no Cardinal to stare angrily at Cubs walkoffs.

Pat and Ron talking about Carl annoying the Nats with his scooter was easily my second favorite highlight of the night.

What were they saying??

The Cubs are now 2-for-2 with 2 walkoff grandslams when I go to bed in the top of the 9th after the road team breaks the game open with 2 runs.

First thing I saw when I got on the bus and checked my phone, was a tweet from JD saying, "I know you couldn't hear it, but I called it". Didn't even check the boxscore, but I knew it was a walk-off HR.

So...I went to bed before the bottom of the ninth. I thought the Cubs had a chance if they'd kept it 1-0, but once it got to 3-0 I decided nah.

Thank god I have it set to a season recording on the DVR.

Was feeling rough yesterday and went to bed early. Did I miss anything?

Almora got a double off Scherzer which duke basically told us would happen. That’s probably the biggest takeaway from last nights game.

The closed captioning at the end of the highlights.

"Man alive! Pinch hit walk-off grand slam!"

Closed captioning was a Nats fan.

Well, that and this Cole Hamels thing might work.

I thought I heard them say that someone from the Nats' side asked the Cubs to tell him to knock it off, but I could be wrong.

All I know is is that true zen is as perfectly content as Carl looks in that picture.
