I don’t think they are anti-launch angle. They said, and it makes sense to me, going from Malle to Davis was more going from a guy known for coaching/doing mechanical things to moving more towards a guy who coached from the mental aspect since most of the guys had grown and matured past the point of working and developing on the mechanics as hitters and it was time to grow them more mentally as hitters.
