Huh, I thought for sure the team with 1 actually good hitter, a horrible bullpen, and a rotation full of rookies -- most of whom are not actually good -- would continue to play .800 ball all season.

Have to say the White Sox are doing an impressive job of ruining their draft pick. 13-6 in their last 19 including 4-3 this week against the Yankees and Red Sox

Assuming we have the luxury we should start Tseng, De La Rosa and Garcia in Arizona in a few weeks to horsefeathers the Dodgers

More Chatwood is needed

Chtwud comes into one of these games and walks 6 guys in one inning.

"More Chatwood" pitching for the Cubs is never the answer to anything.

New question. If you knew the Cubs would win the World Series, who would you want to face along the way?

NLDS: Brewers - Cardinals fans would be so pissed the rivalry series wouldn’t include them. And we would have eliminated every division rival in the postseason besides the Reds in recent years.

NLCS: Dodgers - Would go up 2-1 on them and so many people would whine about the two biggest NL markets going 3 years in a row. And only 1 game away from 4 straight.

World Series: Yanks or Sawx. Pretty interchangeable for me.

Same for me except I’d want to beat the Astros to eliminate another former division rival

The correct answer is

Cardinals in the first round - Brewers take an L and don't even get to face us, plus we eliminate a team whose fanbase is really feeling itself right now after their hot streak.

Dodgers in the NLCS - Revenge for the pantsing last year.

Red Sox - Best team in the majors all year.

My dream WS has always been Cubs Yankees.

I was a big Yankee fan in the late 70s early 80s and cubs as a youngster..

Then just basically went strictly Cubs when Green took over..

My 2nd choice would be against the WS, that would be crazy for Chicago and then to beat them in the biggest series would be awesome

For this year I’d pick Oakland in the World Series because I could actually go to a game.

I’d definitely go Cards and Dodgers though for the other two. I assume you mean teams we could actually face this year otherwise I would say the Mets as my second team.
