Passan's weird. I generally think that aside from Grant Brisbee (who is going for something WAY different) he's the best baseball writer out there right now. But he will jump at any chance he gets to write that the sky is falling. Like the tone with which he wrote about free agency this winter was more dire than what the Washington Post uses to write about the president. He was the same way with the "Tommy John epidemic" a few spring trainings ago

I think new Comiskey, or whatever corporate name they've slapped on it for this season, is pretty nice. They have great food, the views of the field is nice from most areas, and it's great to hear the players, coaches and umps during the game.
