No idea on its validity, but that type of offer makes sense, due to the lower AAV. Especially if there's some opt outs included. I'd actually be OK with that type of offer from the Cubs.

Well, if his flight leaves LA say around 1pm Chicago time, it would put him at Ohare around 5pm. Traffic downtown should get him to the Cubs convention by the middle of the opening ceremonies if this tweet pans out(which I don't believe for a minute)
