Im so horsefeathering confused. The Jets fan is pissed at the Cowboys fan and the Packers fan is screaming “WE’RE ALL GOING TO horsefeathering DIE” while the Bear fans demonize one of their own who has the hopes Ryan Pace does a Aroldis Chapman level trade to push us over the top.

At least pot is legal here. That makes some sense. Sign Harper already Theo. You’ve got Armageddon on your hands if you don’t.

I should mention that i wrote a 5 sentenced code interpretation that avoided millions in lawsuits and likely saved jobs today. Not that I feel all that great, our firm set up the issue to begin with. Thank god the building official saw it the way I saw it.

For me, its Armageddon or Bryce Harper.

Lol holy horsefeathers, you’re all bored and angry so have at it. I was most annoyed some loser who keeps talking ‘bout them contracts being too damn high only ever responds to my posts in the least human ways possible. I’m super nice amd given the context clearly go out of my way to stay that way here. I can eat horsefeathers and willingly do so in exchange to talk baseball sometimes movies/TV and other sports, but yeah basically horsefeathers that guy

Ever since he inexplicably tried to simultaniously argue both that the Cubs broke Heyward and that pre-Cubs Heyward is the same as Cubs' Heyward, he's been in a mood.

it's so unfortunate that i went to all the trouble of speaking to you in that thread and yet you still failed completely at reading comprehension

I'm rubber and yer glue, dood.

The longer this drags out and the longer we make no moves of substance it makes me think we are more in on Bryce than is known. I think we have the moves/trades lined up to sign him if he tells us he wants to come/accepts our offer, but we aren’t going to make those moves if he doesn’t come because we need Heyward, Zobrist Happ, whoever it takes to move $$ etc. to win this year without Bryce and we don’t have the room to sign Bryce and do any of the reliever moves that have been done (Miller, Britton, etc) so that’s why we’ve done nothing essentially since we need to wait on Bryce. I also still think Descalso was brought in as some insurance in case Zobrist, Happ, Bote go in a trade to clear room for Bryce and if it doesn’t happen he’s overqualified for the LaStella role which is fine.

I would just like to add that that is one hell of a sentence!!

"And just to go out and purchase players to purchase players, you might not be getting better than you already have.”

Come on Joe. This is Bryce horsefeathering Harper we're talking about, not Billy Hamilton.

The Cat is the only good thing about this offseason. Even if he knows nothing, which he probably doesnt (he does), he's at least fun instead of the rest of the doom horsefeathers the entire organization is spewing.

Good on Joe. If he's telling the truth I appreciate the honesty as opposed to Theo's nonsense "I don't want to tell people what to think" cop out. If he's lying then oh well, it makes the reveal that much more exciting and no one will be mad at him. I can't believe I'm writing this about Mr. "Oh should I have read that?" but he's handling the PR/messaging of this offseason way better than the FO.

Even if he's right that the Cubs and Harper aren't happening though, he's still at least lying about the reason. The Cubs have never had an issues with "purchasing players" in the past. I get that he can't say "the Ricketts don't want to spend the money", but he's clearly not being entirely forthcoming here.

Theo is being honest as well. He wants Ricketts to bring back some of the millions of the billions in cash in his off shore bank accounts to make his team better, and Ricketts doesn't want to do it. If Theo had access to that money himself, it would already be done.

I'm pretty sure I simply no longer care about baseball at this point. Would anybody be able to explain cricket to me?
