Every pass Rodgers throws is off his back foot

It's always been funny to me how there's some great QBs that do stuff that you can't as a QB coach tell a player to mimic. Rivers' throwing motion. Marino's throwing motion. Rodgers' backfoot throws. Peyton's footwork.

New England opened -14.5 over Houston and that quickly went up to -16 or -17. It was the largest opening playoff spread since 1998. Largest spread ever in the playoffs was -18.

What a boring weekend of football.

At least maybe Ben is banged up.

The AFC is already pretty much a fait accompli for the Patriots, I would prefer it not be any easier for them.

Something so familiar about the new LA Chargers logo

Eh; going for a Pittsburgh sports teams-like synergy isn't a bad idea.

in some other Podunk 3 team town, sure, but in a city/metro area with 8 big sports teams it's really weird.

Everything about this Charger move is comical at this point. The logo. The booing of Spanos and his logo when they showed him and his logo at the last LA Clippers game. The way Spanos skipped town before he made his announcement. The fans burning their memorabilia. The tattoo artists offering discounts for Charger tattoo cover-ups. The speeches by Colin Cowherd and Jim Rome, who I typically can't stand to listen to. The comments section of every internet thread that talks about the Chargers leaving town. The reaction by Los Angeles in general.

I'd venture to guess more people from the LA market buy Raiders season tickets in Las Vegas before they buy Charger season tickets in LA.

One of my favorite comments was about the San Diego fans helping raise money for Spanos to rent some Ryder trucks to move the team since he's so broke. This is really one of the dumbest things I've seen a sports owner do.

But here’s the sad, dirty truth: It doesn’t matter if anyone goes to the games.

It’s terrible and gut wrenching that San Diego, a city that has supported and loved the Chargers for 55 years, will no longer have an NFL team to call their own, but Chargers owner Dean Spanos, with a single half-billion dollar move, has made at least $2 billion in profit.

I'm so disengaged from the Bears that I 110% want the Packers to win today.

For me, it has nothing to do with the Bears and everything to do with the Cubs winning the World Series. Really struggling to care about other sports again.

But yeah, the Packers are going to the Super Bowl if they're going to play like this. Maybe the Patriots will stop them.

As a casual observer, a Cowboys/Patriots SB is infinitely more intolerable than the Packers winning. So to that I say:
