So, if the wind is gonna blow that hard - who is the Cub likeliest to hit a Glenallen Hill rooftop shot?

I'll take the easy one and say Javy.

Soler

Soler or Bryant.

false. if Georgie squares one up like that, it'll go over the rooftop

someone needs to put one on the LF video board

If so, would it be too much to hope for that they take it down and NOT replace it? To me, it just doesn't look right at Wrigley. Too yuppie or something.

I think having Schwarber's bat on the bench for this game helps by keeping Miller out of the game early. Knowing that Kyle is over there waiting may make Francona think twice about going to Miller right away. (but I could be wrong to, its been know to happen)

It may be totally unfounded, but it seems like Javy has swung out of his shoes when the wind is blowing out. I'll say KB is the guy tonight that gets ahold of a couple.....

This guy only K's 6 dudes per 9 and he gives up a home run on flyballs at a 17% rate and the wind is blowing out at record levels?

Good effin luck my friend

Bryant just went yard

Tomlin has bigger reverse splits than Bauer did, so I'm fine with Soler in RF.

Not a great OF defense tonight with the crazy winds, but if Hendricks does what Hendrick does we won't have to worry about it.

I'm at home with my sick kids today instead of at work, they've got minor colds which means they are really fine, but the temps are enough to keep them out of daycare. Basically, I've done the same thing I would have done at work (browsed NSBB) only at home on my couch while my kids play and nap.

us complains about lineup/roster decisions by the smartest organization in baseball a lot

I was wrong about Schwarber struggling against Kluber, and I'll be happy to be wrong about Soler, but what about his last 2.5 months of baseball makes you confident he's going to not go 0-3 with a K and struggle in the OF?

Is it wrong that I worry about guys trying to elevate the ball to the point where it screws up their approach?

Yes, it's wrong. They're already all trying to dong as it is. Basically the whole lineup is looking to elevate the ball in every single at bat.

They don't have to change their approach to do so. That already is their approach. The only guys who aren't trying to dong every time already are Dex, Zobrist, and Willy. I don't see those guys trying to hit the ball 500 feet. Maybe Willson.
