And it's not even close: 3.40 ERA, 0.97 WHiP vs. RHB /5.18 ERA, 1.37 WHiP vs. LHB

I say go

Dex CF

Javy 2B

KB 3B

Rizz 1B

Zo RF

Contreras C

Addi SS

Almora LF (better chance of a good defensive game vs. Soler's for offense.)

Kyle

Would you be surprised if Joe went with the following?

Fowler CF

KB 3B

Rizzo 1B

Zobrist 2B (Baez is swinging at everything again)

Coghlan LF

Montero C

Russell SS

Heyward RF

Kyle P

I wouldn't, but I'm not as knowledgeable as many of the folks around here. I would think that Heyward should be in the lineup because his glove and speed might be needed with the wind blowing out to right. And the first thing I thought when I saw the lineup with Javy in 2nd was, "I wonder how many ground balls bad hitting Javy hits?" I also like the idea of Miggy catching tonight. And he's perfectly capable of grabbing hold of a pitch and sending it out, so who knows.

I think we probably see the later NLDS lineup

Fowler CF

KB 3B

Rizzo 1B

Zobrist LF

Baez 2B

Contreras C

Russell SS

Heyward RF

Hendricks P

Baez stays at 2b because you want to maximize your chances that any ball on the ground is an out. Fowler, heyward, zobrist should be a good enough OF . If the wind is blowing out as hard as it seems like it might, you just play deep and let everything blow to you. Anything over your head is probably a HR.

We need to sweep these 3 games. I can't continue to be this unproductive into next week.

If they sweep it will take the entire next week to detox, stop crying, and stop watching replays over and over again. Your better off knowing nothing productive will happen next week.

(needs more zeroes)

108,000?

Of course, somebody wasn't going to let that lie, but :nono:

Eamus Catuli! :-)

This guy only K's 6 dudes per 9 and he gives up a home run on flyballs at a 17% rate and the wind is blowing out at record levels?

Good effin luck my friend

eh i don't really think that's an accurate portrayal of how he's pitching now but we will still beat him to death

There is no angle from which you can look at this game and believe the Cubs don't have an enormous advantage...why the hell am I so nervous?

You're eager for the game to start, yet still have memories of decades of witnessing colossal choke jobs by the Cubs. Plus, baseball.

At least, that's my excuse.

So, if the wind is gonna blow that hard - who is the Cub likeliest to hit a Glenallen Hill rooftop shot?

I'll take the easy one and say Javy.
