So if by some miracle the Cubs lose another game in this series, is Mojo giving up his start or are we just inserting Fred in the rotation and Mojo would start after the next loss (again, if that actually happens)?

Moot point, but for the sake of discussion, Mojo pls.

If Miguel Montero thinks you're a jerk, you must be a real a-hole. Let's crush this guy and make him wish he were back home bleeding out from another drone injury.

We got this. Cubs win big tonight.

I've met Bauer and he is not a jerk. But he is a thinker and you can imagine that doesn't always go over well if you are a rookie.

Also, they better get this game in. I don't want Cleveland benefiting from an extra day off after Miller threw 46 pitches last night.

I wonder if that factored into the decision to have him throw that much yesterday.

he could have easily been on ecstasy when you met him

It was on his mind.

Francona allowed Miller to throw 46 pitches, a playoff-high for him.

"There's a lot that can happen tomorrow," Francona said. "One, we might not have a lead. Two, it might rain. Three, we could have a lead and he won't be available ... when you have a lead, you try to win."

Eh, if it gets rained out tonight, I assume they'll just make it up Thursday and keep everything else on schedule, so then it's four games in four days that he'd have to deal with. Would delay any potential benefit, and I guess the biggest chance of a blowout is Hendricks vs Tomlin, but not the worst if it gets rained out.

Except Thursday weather appears to be as bad or worse than today.

Accuweather has a gap in rain from 3-6 eastern time, showers at 7, and then no rain until 11. So hopefully whatever rain happens when first pitch is scheduled is light enough to ignore.

I'm flattered, but I'll be in Chicago and odds are I'll forget to have it up in a timely fashion. Fred simply took my spot and in the bizarre chance we need another started, I say just move to the next person after Fred/me.

Activate god-mode Jake pls.

I'll settle for "good"-mode Jake as in 2-3 runs/7 IP. I think our offense shows up tonight to the tune of 5-7 runs, with Strop and Chappie closing things out.

VERY close. For some reason it's burned in my memory to this day, too.

I always used the code as Trip typed it. IGN has it that way, too. http://www.ign.com/cheats/games/contra-nes-5653

I wonder if it works both ways.

Anyway, I really posted just so that I could post in a Cubs WS game thread. Cubs win tonight, and wrap it up Sunday in Wrigley.
