So.....Underwood's assistants right now look like Walker and Lamont Evans, who is a guy familiar with recruiting Chicago and highly respected. The third could be Shane Heirman, hc at LaLumiere in Indiana. It could also be Orlando Antigua, Calipari's former lead recruiter for Anthony Davis and a heavyweight in Chicago. He just got fired at USF after 3 seasons. I've also heard Chin Coleman from UIC.

Jamall Waller's been retained by Illinois, officially.

And for some reason, it appears the Missouri job has been re-posted.

Bummer ending for you UMFan, but you kinda got the shot you wanted there at the end. Nice run

Cubs won the World Series

2 killer offensive rebounds by Oregon that shouldn't have happened. Though when we took the 3 point lead with 2 mins left it was ours but just couldn't score those last 2 points. Tomorrow I'll be thrilled with the season but tonight I'm going to lament letting that one slip away

Oh and Cubs won world series

Michigan had one hell of a run there. I was rooting for them tonight for sure.

That was an atrocious last possession by WVU. Two long threes when they didn't need one and then couldn't get a shot up with 10 seconds to go.

the kenpom spread was Oregon by 1, i guess i should've known to not get hopeful

Yes but that didn't take into account Oregons injury so I had no choice but to remain hopeful.

Of course it also didn't account for Wagner to play his worst game since his freshman year

Don't know why Purdue isn't trying a zone against Kansas. They can't stick with their guards man to man. Especially with their bigs, just clog things up. All those open 3s were created off of the dribble drive which Purdue couldn't hang with, if you go zone at least you can contain the dribble/kick a bit. Edited by Cubswin11

One of Gonzaga, Xavier, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Baylor, or Florida will be in the NCAA title game.

None of the coaches of those teams have ever even made a Final Four. Coming into today, the only coach on that side of the bracket to make a Final Four was Huggins.

Gonzaga, Xavier, and South Carolina have never made a Final Four, let alone a title game. Baylor hasn't made a Final Four since 1950. This year was South Carolina's first tourney wins since 1973, and they've never advanced past this round.

WVU shot 22% from 3 (and under 30 overall) after going off for 57% (highest of the season) to knock out ND.

Not that I was bitter about it or anything

I thought I read that SC had never even made a sweet 16 until this year

For some reason it doesn't seem shocking or fresh if Gonzaga or Xavier make it (and 1 will obviously), probably because they are in the mix every year and have both made the Elite 8 in recent years. Boggles my mind that neither (especially Xavier) have made a F4

I just checked my bracket for the first time in a week

I have 3 of 8 Elite Eight teams

1 of 4 Final Four

It could be worse I guess
