I am interested in having my website (http://www.northsidebaseball.com) and our community (http://www.northsidebasball.com/forum/index.php) become official sponsors of the foundation for the 2017 season. Please reach out to me at the address above to let me know what that entails.

Thank you,

That's awesome but does this mean we have to be family friendly forum again?

What was Wests problem? He wouldn't let Montero visit the mound? I didn't have sound.

Suggestion was the manager can't direct a mound meeting by position players.

Maddon pulled the standard manager move of having his infielders visit the pitcher before he walked out there so that Chapman would get a couple extra warmup pitches. West told Joe he couldn't do that for some reason even though it is done in EVERY game. So Joe just walks out to argue with him instead so that Chapman gets even more warmup pitches. Problem solved.

I didn't see video of everything, but apparently Montero started towards the mound(might have gotten there), then was called back. Then once he was back the infielders converged on the mound and the dugout told Montero to join them, and West got pissed and grabbed Montero to try to get him to stay put. Maddon hopped out of the dugout with a "what the @*#!& did you do that for?" and that pretty much ensured an ejection.

I feel like dugout suggested mound visits happen every time a pitcher is about to be replaced and they want the relief pitcher to get a couple of more pitches

I wonder if West realized he got played by Maddon anyways. Also, why would he let Joe make the pitching change after being ejected?

He knew he was on national TV and Hendricks had overshadowed him for the night and he would have none of that

Wasn't ready for how much dust suddenly showed up in my living room. I thought we cleared it all out of here. Gotta check the air filters again I guess...

Thanks for posting. Thanks everyone for Twitter-bombing Len, and thanks to Len for hanging on to that for the potential game-winning pitch. So awesome. Somewhere, Fred is hiding a giant grin behind a pay-it-cool smirk and a cheesy catch phrase.

Strange I was thinking maybe Kerry had a history with Weat but I can't find anything from a quick google. Maybe Kerry just consistently hated his zone
