Hendricks wins the Cy ....right?

fwiw, both Rogers and Sharma have recently said he doesn't have a good chance based on what they've heard from writer/voter types.

That said, a sub-2 ERA with a no hitter, might make him the favorite.

I can see that being the case. But I always come back to.....if not him, then who?

Kershaw has the blood of a winner, which makes up for the time missed due to injury and the less awesome numbers.

At this point, with national TV attention and live cut-ins, I don't imagine they mention Fred.

Then we will do it again tomorrow. And the next day. Until he mentions it or blocks us all.

They both said Scherzer because of the difference in innings and K's.

I would love this so much just to see Kyle's reaction.

yep this is what I want to see, it's going to be insane if he just tries to mope of the mound as usually and everyone attacks him

Scherzer has almost 25 more IP than any Cubs starter

I kind of want the Cubs to not score just because I don't want us to ice our own pitcher with a long half inning

This!

I was like "Christ Zobrist it's like your head's not in the game!!"

That's largely because he has 30 starts and most of the Cubs rotation has 28.

This is the one starter we'd want at the plate if we wanted him to make an out quickly. I bet he gets a hit because baseball.

edit: Or draws a walk after a long at bat
