Can't watch, what happened, did Hamilton fall down and get hurt or something? Does he have to come out?

Picture the Schwarber/Fowler play, except instead of a collision it was the ball deflecting off the CF and hitting Hamilton in the head.

The ball was hit out to the left center field gap. Duvall and Hamilton converged on the play, with Duvall crossing in front of Hamilton, who went for a sliding catch. Duvall just ticked the ball off the top of his glove, but that was enough to deflect the ball over Hamilton's glove. The ball then smacked Hamilton in the side of the head. Hard.

That wasn't a double post, btw. For those following on game day, Bruce made two good plays at the wall on consecutive plays.

Can anyone explain what happened? Is Hamilton dead?

LF crossed in front of Hamilton on a ball lined to left center... LF missed the ball which struck Hamilton in the head

Oh, for those not watching, Hamilton walked off under his own power, but was clearly shaken. He'll be going through concussion protocols.

1st we make the Reds hitting look good. Then we make the Reds bullpen look good. Now we make Jay Bruce's defense look good? What is this world coming to?

Concerned about Hendricks pitch count here a bit, after last night. Puts pressure on the offense to blow it open early. I don't trust Kyle with a high pitch count in this ballpark.

I'm on a high speed train going from Brussels to Paris - thanks for the info on that play.

It's a work trip - I'd rather be home watching the game.

Be thankful. When I go on work trips it's somewhere like Indianapolis or Kansas City. You get to go to freaking Paris.
