Hendricks

4-4

2.84 ERA

Eickhoff

2-8

3.93 ERA

The Phillies have finally realized they're terrible and Eickhoff spells Jerad like that.

Oh, Hi guys.

It's been awhile....I brought you something

I do hope Soler is ok, that last hit he had was ripped into the left field corner. Both he and Heyward are starting to look the part, and if they're hitting, this already absurdly scary team gets scarier.

And Fowler as well, though him sticking in the game encourages me. (Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the day off to let swelling come down in his hand if that happens)

I'm guessing even if it's not serious Soler will be out for a week at minimum with his hamstring history but I'm expecting a 15 day DL move on him tomorrow. It will be interesting to se who gets called up if/when Soler goes on the DL, Bryant probably goes to LF most of the time with LaStella/Javy at 3B. I wonder if they would consider calling Vogelbach up just to have the bat on the bench? All the OF on the 40-man currently are on the MLB roster or on the DL.

Seems like its looking like Almora gets the call, if Soler gets DL'd. That'd be fun.

It would really be fun if they called up Vogelbach and put him in LF.

Was curious how Almora was doing this year so I looked up his stats and saw he has a .017 isoD this year. He has only 7 walks in 223 PAs.

I believe Jesse Rogers said it would either be Almora or Murton.

Yeah Almora is keeping that BA high which is nice, but 5 XBH (all doubles) and 1 BB in his last 21 games doesn't scream "call me up". That said, obviously his defense is the main draw. A cup of coffee to give him a taste of the big leagues isn't the worst thing.

Murton has been on a tear since coming off the DL but its Murton. I was more excited for him as a nostalgic 5th OF, not as a replacement after Schwarber and Soler go down with injuries.

THE GAME TIME ISN'T LISTED IN THE THREAD TITLE!!!!!!!

while I would like to make fun of you for not using the google machine to find it on your own, the gam thread forum is my #1 source for finding game time and TV info

next kevin pillar

i'm much more excited about getting to see almora's defense semi-regularly (and maybe he'll babip his way to some offensive success - he certainly has that ability) than i would be about the murton nostalgia act

Given his past leg issues, there has to be like a 95% chance Soler goes on the DL regardless of what the MRI shows.

There's some interesting questions to be answered if he does get the call. Does he play everyday? I'm not so sure he does. I can see KB getting some time in LF, same with Scissors. Secondly, does he solely play CF? I know this sounds dumb, but I could see Joe not wanting to disrupt anything whatsoever, when it comes to Dex.(baseball players are creatures of habit type stuff that is completely not provable)

My guess is Almora would start slightly less than half the time, but be in late defensively in most games.

since dex has been so good defensively, i'd imagine he'd stay in CF barring late subs, which is fine.

any combination of almora, fowler, heyward would be hilariously good
