That was the way to get back on track Cubs. Now, let's keep it rollin! So for today's unfair match-up, we have this awesome lefty:

Meanwhile, the Giants send this to the mound:

That's Cain saying to himself, "Damn... do I really have to pitch to these dongmasters? Can't someone else take my turn?"

The beatings continue... Cubs win this one 7-2 as Lester goes 7 and Rizzo and Russell both homer... twice.

Go Cubs!!! :clapping: :flythew: :clapping: :flythew:

Dear Cubs,

It's entirely too early to be getting up on a weekend just to see you, so please win. And no one get hurt.

Thanks!

I have no idea what this post means.

Oh, wait, you live on the other side of the globe or something, right?

He's traveling from Southern CA to SF to see the game today.

Ohhhhhhh. Wow. Maybe it's because I haven't finished my coffee yet, but I totally couldn't understand the way the post was worded. I was thinking he was saying the game was too early, and he he didn't intend to wake up for it, and I'm all, "but... it's a night game".

It's a afternoon game in SF

Well, 4:15 pm is kinda borderline afternoon, and shouldn't be too early for someone to wake up and turn on the TV. That's what was going through my head before the part about traveling.

Win on my birthday please!

Also, I can't stay up to watch the 1:30 endings anymore like I used to (and obviously today being an afternoon game is pretty much perfect with me). I did inexplicably wake up at 1:00 am to catch the ending of the game and watch the game highlights thereafter, so that was nice.

But anyway the first time the 3 hour difference has annoyed me is wondering how much longer I will have to wait to hear about Heyward's MRI results later this morning.

I did not wake up too early and only have to travel a couple hours but it would still be really nice if the Cubs won.

So is there any update on Heyward or what

MRI today on his side/stomach/hip, so probably something definitive no later than tomorrow but likely something at least during the game I'd imagine.

I'd almost be willing to guarantee we will even hear before the game what the extent is and a timetable.

Soler, from now on, that's how you play!

There is no way this is a play off of Will Smith in "Bad Boys" right?

From now on, THAT'S HOW YOU DRIVE!

I'm jealous of both of you, btw. AT&T is one of the parks I want to get to the most.

I got to see 2 of the 3 we played there last season. The park is every bit as great as it is hyped up to be.

It was my favorite park I've been to outside of Wrigley. I can still taste the garlic fries

That's PNC for me. Though I was partial to Ross Perot's box in Arlington.
