I'm 7 miles from Yankee Stadium.

You get used to it.

Makes it easy to get cheap tickets to see your favorite teams. Plus you make friends with season ticket holders and score some free ones occasionally.

Yeah, there was a point in the last few weeks where it looked like I might end up moving to the Atlanta area....and being able to get easy tickets to see the Cubs when they play there was a check mark in the positive column.

And San Diego has a lot of other checkmarks in that column too.

Rea on the Road ('16): 3 starts (COL, PHI, LAD), 16.1 IP, 9 BB, 3 HR.

I like the Cubs chances.

Doubleheaders suck, especially when your team is kinda gimpy and you had to use like your entire bullpen last night.

Dong them into submission in both contests to make me feel better

On the plus side, a day off tomorrow will mean they don't have to do roster juggling to recover.

Yeah the day off comes at the right time.

Would be nice to see Lackey continue his Quest To Get Under A 4.00 ERA against this garbage team (His FIP is actually lower right now than it was last year on the Cardinals, probably owing to the Cardinals absurd LOB%)

Don't give up 7 runs again to this garbage lineup...through both games today, thanks.

Jorge and Heyward both dong today, and we mercilessly destroy their pitching in both games so much that we somehow leave this series with loftier expectations than we already have. Edited by Duke Silver

Yep. Used to go to a ton of games for free in KC all the way up to the end of the 2014 regular season.

I want to sweep this so bad. It feels like every time we get close to a double digit win streak, it ends at like 8. Let's not do that. Let's win 10 straight.

I take it you mean both games combined.

I wanted to wait a few more days to broach the subject, since we are so, so far away. But I don't want 10 straight. I want 22. I want to break all the records this year. 10 would be alright. But 10 is only 10. Let's get 22.

I want the 10 game lead really bad. That lead makes me feel like it's over. Or at least close to it.

Heh, so some of you want the double digit win streak...or double digit lead in the division...I want to be 20 games over 500 on freaking May 11.
