I just noticed Fangraphs has added a "talent adjusted" line to their win probability chart. Cubs down 2-1 to the Padres heading into bottom of the second at home are still 61.2% to win.

yes but what about "grit adjusted" ?

Edwards is stretched out enough to go multiple innings if needed, right?

 

I'm just going off memory and not looking at logs but I believe he's strictly been a 1-inning reliever this season.

I just had a co-worker who I had previously thought was somewhat knowledgeable about baseball look at me and say "ZO-BRIST? I always thought it was ZORR-BST"

 

Sometimes you just don't really know people.
