Rest in peace, just checked Wikipedia.

Had no idea he assumed room temperature. he's probably waving in his grave as we speak.

Believe he had early-onset Alzheimer's. Pretty sad.

Yeah, things got super bleak:

Geez. :-( Now I'm proud that the back of No. 3 shows up in a ginormous panorama of my first game at Wrigley, both of which I received as birthday gifts. Thanks for the read, SS!

Baez's first walk of the season?

actually of his entire life

before today, his Batting average = his OBP

If you're gonna pinch hit with a pitcher, why not Wood?

Hammel isn't needed until Sunday. Wood is probably getting use before that, and could still see action today if Ramirez can't get outs.

Well I'd rather Ramirez just go after guys so I can't really complain

This Villar guy though, I am stabbing small dolls trying to damage his soul

I've been wondering if we plan on burning some innings with the likes of Cahill and dumping them in July for another arm from the pile.

Not sure but its interesting how the backend of our roster looks. Cahill and Wood get all the garbage innings, Richard pitches like once a week, I am not 100% sure if Neil Ramirez is a real person.

Meanwhile we still have a 4 man bench and guys are starting to get a little banged up and depth is starting to thin out.

Yeah it just seems like there is a concentrated effort to limit starter innings this year, no-hitters withstanding.

Come on, guys, let's wrap this up without further drama.

Thank you!

Gameday says Ramirez is sitting 91 with a 4 seamer. It is cold and it is April, but that's not good.

That's what the Brewers broadcast had him at as well. Though it did look more like a 2-seamer than 4-seamer on TV

Some of the writers are saying Bryant went for an MRI and it revealed a mild sprain. Others make it sound like Bryant is going for a precautionary MRI.
