Over their last 77 regular season games, the Cubs have gone 56-21 (60-26 in you include playoffs), which is a 118-44 pace over a full season.

I want the Cubs to get HIGH up in the standings today

I'm hoping for many SMOKED balls.

I hope they get REALLY STONED to celebrate todays win.

Did I do it right?

I hope the cardinals don't drink and drive after the game

what happened to Joe's habit of batting the pitcher 8th?

It's not cool now that others have copied it.

(CBS) After often batting his pitcher eighth and then-rookie shortstop Addison Russell ninth in 2015, Cubs manager Joe Maddon acknowledged Wednesday that he plans to go back to the more traditional approach.

Maddon indicated he’s likely to bat his pitcher ninth in 2016, in large part because he’s been pleased with Russell’s progress.

Honestly, I want to dong every game. But this game I really want to dong them to death. We've displayed our superiority in every other facet of the game -- pitching, base running, defense, fundamentals. Now it is time to dong. Assert our donging dominance today and this will be pretty much the perfect series.

If we can get to them early, maybe hit a couple dongs, then what are the chances that Martinez loses his composure and maybe tries to start a beanball war? We know these guys have a bit of an inferiority complex, as evidenced by them airing the Rodney Dangerfield Greatest Hits all off-season. And Martinez is a little too tightly wound, as it is. Plus, there's some horsefeathers going back to last year. A quick 5-spot in the first and I'm betting someone gets a ball in the ribs.
