Even though we're awesome now there's still going to be "it's over" posts after falling behind 2-0 in the first?

We still have 4 dudes that aren't hitting so being in a hole matters

we have half a lineup that "isn't hitting" and we're among the league leaders in runs and run differential? sounds like we're pretty damn good to me

The point is that the Cubs are 11-3 and this is the 2nd inning of a game in April. No need to have reactionary 'its over' posts after falling into a 2 run hole early.

I don't think it's over, but on Sunday I didn't think it was over and it was...

yeah, that's gonna happen around 40 times so be ready to deal with the anguish

OK maybe he will get hit hard today...if things continue this way we might get to break out our vaunted long relievers. Edited by UMFan83

Great AB by Javy. I feel like half the board has written him off but I liked what he was doing mid season in AAA last year, and how he looked in AAA & with the Cubs after the injury as well last year.

Even the K's ive seen from him this year he was working deep in counts.

It's crazy how different the offense looks when they face pitchers who can locate on the corners (and umps willing to expand their zone to accommodate)

Almost every MLB pitcher will be dealing against any offense when they can hit the corners & get an expanded Kzone.
