Another enjoyable outing for the Cubs as they secured their third straight series win to start the season. With Baltimore's loss, the Cubs are now tied for the best record in the majors.

Iglesias is a good young pitcher who had a couple solid starts against the Cubs last year (12 2/3 IP, 9 H, 7 BB, 4 R, 18 K's). Looking for Hammel to give us another good start and help the Cubs earn the sweep.

This season feels like that one montage in Moneyball where everything goes right and the team is taking a ton of walks. Edited by Omar

Question for Fred: When was the first time last year we reached six games over .500?

Is only Fred allowed to give the answer?

May 16th they went to 21-15 after beating Pittsburgh.

I remember how sick I was of the win 3, lose 2 crap and how I just wanted us to get to five over so bad.

on may 21st we hit 23-17.
