honestly I think that all the speculation that she was sleeping around is male sexism trying to pin the "Yoko Ono". Maybe she did have an affair. Maybe he did. Maybe they both did, but I doubt its a Cindy Sandberg situation. If it happened, it was likely a one time deal like most affairs are, and if they are working through it it good for them.

Pretty good breakdown on the Cubs FO failures since the World Series.

https://www.theringer.com/mlb/2019/9/26/20884788/chicago-cubs-missed-playoffs-theo-epstein-joe-maddon-kris-bryant

From 2017-2019, the Cubs have given out $285.5m in FA contracts (valued over $1m) to 13 players (well 12 as Duensing is counted twice having signed 2 contracts) and have received 7.9 wins so far (4 of those contracts - Darvish, Chatwood, Kimbrel and Descalso don't expire after this year).

My sources had always indicated it was Happ.

Your honor, my client was busy murdering childen in Iowa, and couldn't possibly have done what you accuse him of.

Don't know where i belong; but the reason i don't go to Mlb games much any more is the bums make too much $$$ for very little talents. I guess i grew up watching a different game in the 1950's and 1960's when players thought they were lucky to have people pay to watch them and kids idolized these sportsmen. Might as well have 20 relief pitchers and don't let any of them pitch further then once through the line up.. Give them the rest of the year off and bring in the ground crew to finish up or hope for rain for the next week.. :clapping:

Wait wait wait wait.

What if Zobrist cheated on his wife...with a member of the Cubs?

I mean, it is 2019...

16 or 17. They're tired with az right now.. If philly sweeps and the Cubs get swept they'll tie but I'm not sure about the tie breaker. That's the only team that is ahead of them that can reach them. AZ, the Mets, and Boston are all tied ir within 1 of the Cubs.

For what it's worth, every minor league player today is more talented than any player you watched in the 50's.

Hypothetically, where do you think all the revenue should go? The market has clearly shown that millions of people are willing to pay current ticket prices, cable subscriptions, food/drink prices, etc to watch major league talent. That money has to go somewhere. What do you think should happen to it?

The guy’s right. Bryant would probably hit 90 homers if he had to sell insurance every winter instead of working on baseball.

Mayhaps he'd hit 100 if he also had to take the steam locomotive to get from Junction City to Kalamazoo!

It will probably be a part of most packages, but I sure am not planning on going out of my way to get the stupid Marquee network.

Of course that's easy to say during this current streak - I'm sure they'll be able to pull me back in with a decent off-season and spring excitement.

One last good memory of Zobrist. It was a good pitch too.

I'm surprised Yadi didn't charge the mound

Molina knows what happens when he gets in the way of a Cubs pitcher.

What does your weird boner for other teams' pitching have to do with general Cubs chit-chat. Like, at least swerve it back to your even weirder vendetta against Nico or something.
