With him clearly being the most handsome Cub by far, I am pulling for Almora.

And I mean pullllllllllllllllin'.

That isn't fair. Bryant is covering all of his acne with that hat. He isn't fooling me!

Exactly. He also makes bad hair choices, and his eyes cross over from dreamy to creepy. He's a little girl's idea of what a prince should look like, plus terrible acne.

I was also surprised by Almora's emergence as the handsomeness alpha dog because his team photos are so dorky. A baseball hat does him no favors. His cleaned up look from Bryant's wedding, however, show him to be way ahead of the pack.

My steaming hot bold prediction on the OF:

- Almora rides hot ST into hot, BABIP inflated first half. Jay faces the tough righties, especially velocity guys.

- Almora peters out by the AS break.

- A resurgent Heyward takes CF.

- Cubs trade for an OF* because runs are fun and they're a little more dependent on the offense this year than last. Almora is either in that trade or he plays Jarrod Dyson old role with the Royals as a relatively high use defensive sub and pinch runner. Secretly I hope that OF is Stanton, but do not ask how.

*while saving plenty of room to buy a pitcher of considerable talent and value

Giancarlo Stanton is owed like half-a-trillion dollars and has averaged 115 games played per season over the last 5 years.

I couldn't remember which Baker that was. It's neither Scott nor Jeff. It's John.

The Cubs sure ran through the Baker brothers there in the early '10s. (They're not brothers.)

This has got to be killing the haters. I LOVE it!!! :yahoo:

To be fair, the "this year on baseball" series is being done for a bunch of teams. The Mets have one with the staring staff (4 of them anyway) eating dinner and it's kinda bizarre.

Is it bizarre because they have fully functioning limbs?

all the CGI to remove their slings and casts made it a bit cartoonish
