I officially moved up 175 spots from last year on the waiting list. I can't find my older emails with the status.

same. 175 spots exactly.

Not sure if this is the right spot for this

I was able to pull up single tickets to the home opener and pairs of tickets to the ring night just now on Cubs.com

32,408.

I re-signed up a couple of years ago, I had originally signed up in '04 or '05 and I feel like that's when a bunch of you that now have season tickets signed up so I probably missed out with the notification going to a defunct e-mail.

The dynamic pricing is out of control for opening night.

Yeah I started pulling up pairs but they were $299 each plus fees came to $344. Granted they were section 10 row 10 which are fantastic seats. But out of my budget.

Didn't know where else to put this and didnt want to start a new thread. Is vivid seats a reputable ticket seller? I'm looking to get two tickets to Sundays game vs the Cards and there are some affordable seats on there right now.

Question two, I'm a bigger dude and I'd like to get bleacher tickets which are currently around $65 or so because i know they're benches, but are the seats in the upper deck nosebleed areas or the upper deck box seats more accomodating to larger framed people? Ive sat behind home plate in the past and it was pretty uncomfortable, so I'm not thrilled about getting seats, but those nosebleeds are only $26 on vivid seats right now and that's hard to pass up.

Best of my knowledge the seat size is the same throughout. Vivid is fine.

Bleacher seats are your best bet since it's all GA and there are no armrests.

The Cubs ticket resale market is garbage right now. Demand WAY down from previous years. I can't sell tickets for this upcoming homestand at face value on StubHub (more for the buyers because of the fees, I get it, but still). I've given away a handful of games and only made profit on the Opening Series and Yankees games.

If anyone wants tickets for Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday for face or slightly below, DM me.

evanstonian was actually apete this whole time

HA! I've been to like 5 games myself this year and sold/given most of the others away. If I couldn't afford to have season tickets, I wouldn't have them, but being able to recoup some of that cost is nice. But it is interesting that the demand is so crummy. Did the championship kill the Golden Goose? Absolutely not, but the demand/fervor for Cubs tickets is nowhere near it was in, say, 2004.

Or, the Cubs have gotten better at knowing what to charge for tickets.

This, plus school isn't out quite yet, for most people.
