I have to imagine that the sight of a Boston fan losing their mind when you explain to them how Ortiz obviously isn't HOF-worthy is a beautiful, wonderful thing.

 

Also: everyone is using something, who cares, yadda-yadda-yadda.

Kaplan said on one of the post games recently that Molina was a sure HOFer...might've even said first ballot but I don't remember for sure. I laughed.

Hahaha, someone started a wildcard pregame thread on Metsrefugees and tons of ppl started getting on him cuz "we don't do that horsefeathers"....

How about the guy that started a thread calling Madison Bumgarner a gay slur. Some derided the OP for it, but the thread is still open and 3 pages long and the entire first page is fat shaming his girlfriend/wife.

 

I won't link to it but its right there on their main board's front page.

There's a game day forum that is private...so I guess maybe they do in there? But mostly it's "4chan shouts things that are somewhat Mets related".

possibly, based solely on his performance on Angie Tribeca

 

I was about to bitch about how hard that show is to catch up on because it wasn't available for streaming anywhere, but apparently it got added to Hulu back in May.

I mean, I don't even understand why this was a question, let alone why Cameron said they were bad. They were coming off an 88 win where the won the West, lost nobody and had some decent prospects, a returning Darvish, and a full season of Hamels. Why wouldn't you expect the Rangers to contend?

 

ETA: Wait, this was obviously from 2014 given the Red Sox reference. Even better.

Harper, Turner, and Werth vs Betts, Bradley, and Benintendi? That doesn't seem all that off.

 

By fWAR it's like a 7 win difference, but that's partly because Benintendi only has 34 games. Not sure how exactly they figure it, but my point is the Red Sox OF is much better.
