Also gave him a 45 arm when there have been other reports it's well above average

Yeah, he throws in the low 90s and his arm is slowly coming back post injury. I feel like he hasnt watched much of him.

Cesar Lugo is my personal favorite of the group, signed with the Cubs out of Guarenas, Venezuela, and there is no public signing bonus number I could find. Despite being listed at 5’10” 165 Lugo has some serious raw power, hitting a ball 112.4 MPH and an average exit velocity of 96.1 in games with statcast this season. His approach needs a lot of polishing, right now he’s not swinging at a lot of balls in the zone but is still chasing pitches out of the zone a decent amount. His ability to make contact is a rollercoaster right now, in 16 swings against pitches 95+ mph and breaking balls 83+mph he has zero whiffs and has also done some damage, but against changeups he is making contact 30% of the time, likely being the reason for a lot of the strikeouts. Spending most of his time in the field in left.

That side-by- side with Votto was pretty spot-on. That was a surprising comp.

Fun comparison for sure. Especially considering Hartshorn is a switch hitter and still has a decent shot to end up off of 1b.

Lance did an interview with Kepley

Nice to hear from the best baseball player on the planet at scoring runs in 2026. 🙂
