If Castro had controlled himself turning through 3rd at all, he would have been safe because Cespedes did not make a good throw.

I have no problem with that send with Ross and Lester coming up.

 

I want to feel that way, but it was a hard hit and Cespedes was coming in on it. There was almost no chance.

I don't agree that the send was fine because "make them play defense". Cespedes has a rocket of an arm and lives to make those throws. If you are going to say the send was fine, it's because Ross and Lester were due up.

At first I thought you were talking about the groundout. Then I realized you mean he should have had a triple. And yeah, if he goes right out of the box, he's on third. Probably thought it was going to be a simple catch for the CFer.
