Arrieta is going to be worth nearly 7, he has a sub 1 era in the 2nd half and again I was saying "stuff wise" this is on the same level. Saying better than Prior was an oversight, however.

Just have to accept it. We will win the WC game and let the Pirates fans be the ones that ultimately bitch about it. Or we lose and spend the winter preparing for our coming domination.

Is there something about Arrieta in terms of delivery or age or something that makes Maddon not worried about having him go over 110+ pitches every start?

 

I guess so far we haven't seen any signs of the workload affecting him but I'm worried it will at the wrong time.
