i'm pretty much done with castro and it's gonna take a lot more than a decent 70-80AB over the past month to get me to back off that after what he has shown since 2013. it also doesn't help that he's constantly doing stupid crap in the field. i'm not sure why you find that so disagreeable.

 

And what has Soler shown this year? Outside of the repeated meme of how hard the ball hits off of his bat he's little more than a singles hitter. His strikeouts went through the roof and he's the worst defender on the team by far.

 

I want the guy to eventually kick ass, but he's shown next to nothing that should motivate for them to figure out how to work him into the lineup as much as possible once he comes back.

 

i'm not gonna pollute this up with much more of this argument so i'll just say i don't think comparing a rookie sucking to a 6th year guy sucking for 2/3 years is much of a comparison

They're very much in "what have you done for me lately?"-territory. This year just didn't ever click for Soler; he'll likely get another shot with them next year.
