he'll get traded or just be a lefty bat off the bench. he's had a really good year, too, so that sucks for him.

but he better not be starting over Schwarber in any way shape or form.

I really have no idea how I'd handle this as a GM/manager. It's a good problem to have, though, having too much talent at a position. Obviously you carry all three catchers until Sept 1st, but if we get into the playoffs, that's more of an issue. I still carry all three and trade Montero in the offseason -- but even then clubs know they have the upper hand in negotiations, so we're not going to get good value from him no matter what. I love Montero, too. I'm hesitant to convert Schwarber to a LF, even if most people agree thats where his future is. He has soooooo much more value if he can stick at catcher. I could care less if both catchers are left handed, so I'd really prefer to just fire Ross into the sun during the offseason, Lester can have the Winter to adjust to not having his security blanket.

I think it's easy convince ross to be a bench coach

I think you're completely making that up and have no idea what you're talking about.

It worked in Mighty Ducks 2.

Cowley is a troll and knows it, those other guys...I think they're just really really dumb

Particularly David Haugh

Re: Catcher issues, I wish they could just dispense with David Ross, who is no longer a major league baseball player, but I know they can't

twitter is taking cues from shitty things being discussed on NSBB and recommending I follow Ballers, David Kaplan and Gordon Wittenmeyer right now.

Maddon has heart attack, but survives, Ross becomes manager, wins baseball.

A: enjoy having an awesome backup C for the first time in...forever?

Those 2 weeks between trading for Montero and signing Ross were pretty cool.

it's almost like calculating how many runs a guy saved by pitch framing is speculative nonsense.

With the inconsistency of the umpires strike zones, it seems pretty much gray area to me.
