Took 9 innings to get a dong on Sunday but it was well worth the wait. Still waiting for the first Wrigley dong of the year. Hopefully that comes in another win on Monday. Cubs also have a chance to go 2 games over .500 for the first time since 2009.

Go Cubs!

I'm going to the game on Tuesday night but I'm coming in from Muenster, IN. Any suggestions on the best way to go and how much time I should allow? Edited by mul21

Forecast is for 40 degrees and NW (LF to RF) winds at 9 mph.

Not exactly dong weather, eh?

this is why i can't wait for bryant and schwarber. any weather is dong weather for those types.

I think Soler and probably Rizzo fall into that category as well.

i know soler's raw power grades out as like 7-7.5 but i don't think it has translated as well to game situations, at least to this point of his career. bryant grades out at like 7.5 but gets every bit of it during games. rizzo and schwarber are probably a shade below, maybe 6.5.

anyway, all of those guys will be beneficial for beating the wind-blowing-in blues.

After taking a gander at a Cardinals forum and seeing them complaining about bunting, I don't think I even remember us bunting once this year outside of trying for a hit. I might have missed it, but good job Joe.

A - Joe loves him some bunting, so I wouldn't hold my breath on not seeing much of it.

B - How about Coghlan bunting the runner over to third in the 2nd game against the Cardinals?

If the Cubs win and the Cardinals lose, it will be the first time they've outright been in first place since July 30, 2009.

Wasn't that bunt Herrera laid down yesterday a sacrifice attempt that he managed to beat out?
