Seriously, I'd bet you can't find more than 3 or 4 other HC's/OC's over the last 35-40 years (advent of the West Coast offense, which shaped how football is now played) whose teams ranked in the top 10 in the league in yards and scoring on average over 20 or more seasons. Off the top of my head, maybe Tom Moore (who was never a head coach, mind you) and Marv Levy? Not Bill Walsh - he was only a pro OC and HC for a dozen or so years.

He's sort of the Schottenheimer of his era, IMO. He has talented teams that perform well during the regular season and then inexplicably fall on their faces in the playoffs.
