yea, it does seem weird that people think the guy wouldn't be heavily interested in where his child and grandchildren are moving. every family is different, but it's not crazy at all to think he's getting regular updates.

Asheville is known as a tourism destination for it's topographical beauty which greenville shares in the foothills.

This got a hearty chuckle out of me. I can't wait to read those best baseball fan tweets when 2 cancer survivors beat the cardinals.

 

Also my buddy and his wife run a cancer survivor charity and are both good friends with Lester and his wife and the sonuvabitch won't even ask lester a questions hinting at this whole situation. I called him a selfish jackass because I've known him for 15 years and he's known this pitcher guy for about 2. Now I'm pissed off again.

I just called into the Cubs phone number and asked for Jim Hen Theo Epstein to encourage him to work out a deal for Jon Lester. I know I'm crazy but what can I say? His secretary said he was in a meeting (maybe working on the contract for Lester?) so he couldn't take my call. I ended up leaving him a message telling her that I know Theo will do his best to counter the Heyward trade. I told her that I'm hoping Lester will be that player. The secretary said Theo will appreciate my kind words.

 

Also BigBird says this deal will happen, so I believe him.
