Can someone please explain why Rizzo was upset and what happened?

 

Chapman threw two consecutive high inside fastballs to Schierholtz, one behind his head and then one that didn't miss his face by all that much.

 

The Cubs bench started yelling at him about it, then later Chapman got the K and did a little dance off the mound toward the Cubs dugout and stared into it a bit, so then the Cubs started yelling at him even more. Then when Rizzo was out at 1b before the next inning, someone said something from the Reds dugout and he challenged them all to a fight en masse.

This game is getting boring now. Start another fight or let the Reds win.

 

A Mendy solo shot to finish off the cycle would work for me.

Chapman threw consecutive fastballs near/over Schierholtz's head(not intentional), and the Cubs dugout expressed a little displeasure considering those fastballs are coming 100+. After Schierholtz K'd Chapman glared at the dugout and Rizzo and Coghlan both jumped up and started yelling at him. After the third out Chapman dismissively waved his glove towards the Cub dugout. When Rizzo came out to his position for the bottom half of the inning, somebody(maybe Chapman) started yelling at Rizzo, and Rizzo started towards the dugout ready to rumble, at which point benches cleared.

He was hit in the first inning on the first pitch he saw. He was pretty pissed about that.

 

Later, in the 9th, Chapman sails two pitches at Nate's head (one just in front, one over). He was probably just wild, but the Cubs dugout took offense. Rizzo was yelling from the top step at Chapman. Chapman stares down the dugout after a K and more yelling from Rizzo/Cubs. Chapman retires the side and dismissively waves his glove at the Cubs dugout. More of the same.

 

Rizzo comes out to warm up for the bottom of the ninth. He spins around because someone obviously said something from the Reds dugout.

Have you looked at his SB % in the minors. Impressive speed.
