McKinney is a 19 year old CF who was the 2nd ranked Oakland prospect preseason. in A+ this year, at 19, 10.8/17.4 BB/K%, 241/330/400 slash, was 24th overall pick last year, and looks to have speed and power.

The rotation of Arrieta, Wood, Jackson, Wada, Straily isn't as vomit inducing as the post trade rotations of the past few years, but with Shark gone, as well as any hope of Gausman or Bundy, we're going to need to be in on Leater and Scherzer in the winter.

Nobody could seriously try to wrap their heads around this this early. It's too big.

 

1) It's definitely cool as hell

2) I trust our front office not to get completely ripped off

3) We knew these two would probably be traded, it's just crazy to think some team was audacious enough to grab both of them with four weeks to go to the deadline.
