bruno flied out in his at bat in the top of the first, then was replaced in the field to start the bottom of the inning. #-o

Sounded like the field wasn't very well cleaned up from the rain and he rolled his ankle or something.

Bryant really wants to get to Iowa and recreate MD2 with Baez.

Remember when we were drooling over Almora's hit tool at KC last year? Through 221 PA he had a .330 BA(and the last game was a 3 for 5). Bryant is now at .342 in 218 PA at AA.

Hit tool isn't batting average, though.

it's not like the other team is even pitching badly. the smokies only have 4 hits, and 3 are by bryant. yesterday the smokies walked 6 times, and 4 of those were bryant. he's just terrorizing the league.

2015 and forward is going to be some really exciting baseball. Hell I kind of want Alex Jackson just so Cubs can blow away every other team in the power department.

Double down on what works. Draft hitters forever.

i know they like to take it slow with advancing prospects, but he has to be called up to iowa pretty soon. what's the point in letting him destroy the southern league for another month or two?
